01Your written quote controls
The written quote or service agreement for your job sets out the scope, price, deposit, booking conditions and any project-specific cancellation terms. Read it before accepting the work and contact us promptly if anything is unclear.
Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
02Before accepting a quote
A quote is not a booking until it is accepted in the manner stated in the quote and any required deposit or booking confirmation is received. You can ask questions or request changes before acceptance, and we can issue a revised scope where needed.
03Cancelling or rescheduling an installation
If you need to cancel or move an appointment, contact us as soon as possible on 02 40 033 972 or support@aussiecctvcams.com. We will try to reschedule a suitable booking.
A cancellation or rescheduling charge may apply where equipment has been specially ordered, a technician or access equipment has been committed, or reasonable costs have already been incurred. Any applicable charge should be explained under the quote or before it is applied.
04Deposits and equipment already ordered
A deposit may be used to order equipment and secure a date. If an item has been specially ordered or configured for your project, a refund may be affected by supplier terms, restocking charges or costs already incurred, subject to your legal rights.
Where we cancel because we cannot reasonably supply the agreed service, we will discuss the available options, which may include rescheduling, substitution with your approval or a refund of amounts paid for services not supplied.
05After work has started
If you ask us to stop after installation or repair work has begun, you may be responsible for the work properly completed, equipment supplied or ordered, materials used and reasonable costs already incurred. We will explain the position and provide an account of the completed scope.
If we have supplied goods or services that fail to meet a consumer guarantee, the appropriate remedy may be different. We will assess the issue in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
06Variations and extra work
A change to camera locations, equipment, access arrangements or the requested scope may change the price or timing. We will explain the proposed variation and seek approval before carrying out additional chargeable work, except where urgent safety action is reasonably required.
07Refund requests
To request a refund, contact support@aussiecctvcams.com with your name, invoice or job reference, the amount paid and the reason for the request. We may need to confirm the work status, equipment position and applicable quote terms before responding.
Approved refunds are generally returned using the original payment method where practical. Processing time can depend on the payment provider. We do not promise a refund where the agreed service has been supplied and no legal or contractual refund right applies.
08Australian Consumer Law
Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees apply to eligible goods and services. Depending on the circumstances, a major failure can give rise to a choice of remedy, while a minor failure may be addressed by repair or re-supply within a reasonable time.
This policy is not intended to exclude, restrict or modify those rights. If you believe there has been a failure, tell us what happened and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate.
09Contact
For a cancellation, rescheduling request or refund question, call 02 40 033 972 or email support@aussiecctvcams.com. Please do not rely on a social-media message as the only notice for a time-sensitive cancellation.
